1. The general theoretical framework evolved from Salvador Rueda about Social interaction and Cohesion consists of perceiving the the built environment or the 22@block as a connected ecology system. In which the city nests a series of processes such as social interaction, biodiversity, metabolism, urban complexity, mobility and livability interact. The evaluation of the quality of social interaction and cohesion of the the Superilles is done through measuring quantitative data using an evaluation system.

 

2. There are four urban qualities which are measured within the primary categories that are measured in distinct means. Social Space when measured within the circular diagram system can be broken down by type and use. When reviewing the diagram established for the Eixample Esquera Superila, there appeared to be a medium level of seating type and a high number of tree species. Another urban quality which is often reviewed are jobs, which can also be measured by subgroups such as, Job type, Number of floors, Access and Signage.

 

3. Multipliable patterns exist which arose from the comparison between the Superilla of Barcelona and the plazas in the Gracia neighborhood. The notion that alternative methods of transportation are more effectively supported within Gracia do to safety and protection within urban streets compared with the Superilla.
